SET

Originally from Nigeria, Quadri Yusuf was raised by a single father. His father’s friend left for the United States when Quadri was only 15 years old and would make this journey with Quadri in tow. Before leaving, he promised his father, he would make him proud and has worked every second of every day with that in mind. His first act of pride was to join the US Navy as an Engine man in April, 2000.

 

His competitive nature soon took over as he flew through the ranks in record time. He made Chief after 8 years and Lieutenant after 12 years of service. Quadri became a Navy Lieutenant using the same hard work and dedication he brings to the gym.
